ABOUT  Newstead Texel Flock was founded in 2011, with breeding females purchased from The North West Texel Club sales at Chelford Market. The first ewes purchased were from Hengapel, Stainton, Sundorne, Far Hey, Beautry, and Kingledores. The Texel stock rams used to create the Newstead flock were purchased from Fresh Fields, Ettrick and Claybury.
